LIVE AND LET LIVE

Tears of joy.

Tears of fear.

Prayer.

Concern.

Worry.

Hope.

Faith.

Optimism.

Despair.

All of the above.

Now that the election is over.

React.

Or respond.

Choose carefully.

Choose wisely.

The thing is knowing there’s a choice.

Always.

As the sages say:

“The world is as you see it.”

United we stand.

Divided we fall.

What the world needs now…

Not just for some.

For everyone.

And it’s here.

Evident in the sunny day.

The darkness of 3 a.m.

And all moments in between.

O beautiful for spacious skies…

Amulets hang from rear-view mirrors.

For good luck.

To keep us company while we drive.

Memento or souvenir.

Crystals.

Crosses.

Colored beads.

Furry dice.

A graduation cap tassel.

Eagle feather.

Dreamcatcher.

“I [heart] Jesus” card.

Tiny brass bell.

Bride’s garter belt.

Miniature soccer ball.

A baby’s shoe.

These are a few of our favorite things.

And so is America.

America.

God spread His grace on thee.

(And thee being we.)

Crown thy good with brotherhood—

“A feeling of unity and cooperation between all humankind.”

So says Trusty Webster.

May we wear the crown well.

From sea to shining sea.

That’s Mason.
