Just 100-degree days.
Overcast mornings that bust up into groups of clouds
Migrating across the vast blue land of sky.
So go, already!
They ARE beautiful to look at.
Many shades of gray and white.
A charcoal drawing might just capture it
As the herd moves on
A caravan of clouds
Slowly they go
Casting shade and shadows as they pass overhead.
Go! Be gone!
But please—deliver rain to somebody somewhere.
